We are currently recruiting Event Stewards and Security Personnel, static and mobile, for work throughout Yorkshire.
Description
Providing assistance and safety advice to people attending a wide range of events including many types of sporting occasions, outdoor and indoor concerts. No experience is necessary, however you will be required to undergo training including basic first aid and fire safety. The ability to work within a team, display initiative and common sense to the benefit of the public and the event or static role are a must.
Uniform
A uniform is provided and depending on the occasion can be either one or a combination of outdoor jacket, sweatshirt or polo shirt. Smart jacket and tie. In exceptional circumstances other items are provided where required under Health & Safety Regulations..
Hours of Work
These can vary although generally will be between 4 and 6 hours. If it is a major outdoor event, then the hours are usually longer.
Rates of Pay
Dependant on which event or venue you are allocated and specific rates will be explained to you at the interview stage. We pay a minimum of 4½ hours when working at sporting events and 5 hours for other events.
